My current mission is to use my gifts of determination, intelligence, and creativity to help cultivate an environment that promotes innovation, trust and humble pride.

My purpose is to be the best version of myself, always adapting, improving, and lifting people around me to maintain the reputation of myself, the team and the business I work for.

My Values

1. Humility and Integrity

I am a rock in the mountain, not the mountain itself. However, I have a strong sense of self and understand my role as a rock. I listen, empathise, and work with others, always considering everyone’s point of view.

2. Accountability

If it is to be, it’s up to me. Always working hard to make high quality work. If I make a mistake, I correct it and report it after. If I have a conflict, I resolve it. I own my shortcomings and take responsibility.

3. Action-Orientated

Aware that my actions affect more than the foreseeable future. I look at the big picture, focusing on the end goal and take immediate action. Pushing myself into the psychological state of flow to get the task done in the best way possible.

4. Passionate and Focused

I never lost that child-like curiousity of the world, exploring how everything works to the point where I’m excited to get into the task at hand. I focus completely on the objective, soon accomplishing goals or milestones.

5. Developing Self and Others

Always knowing what is expected of me and what I expect in others. Working together in an agile way, consistently sharing knowledge gained and listening to others to learn the best way to do something better, together.

6. Craftsmanship

If it’s broken, fix it. If it doesn’t exist, build it. But always try to reduce the amount of resources I use to do it.

Law of Jante

These are not personal values, rather a perspective. I understand that the Law of Jante is an overexaggeration of Scandinavian culture, which I fell deeply in love with since it seems to align itself with my ideals. However I do believe care should be given and received freely; there should always be a possibility to learn from each other, to improve the group and to argue a case when we believe something can be done better.
